PROCESS :
Please note our fully powder coated Alloy wheel refurbishment process takes between 3 and 5 days dependent on the Alloys condition, e.g. how corroded they are, or if they need any TIG welding or buckle straightening.

Alloys are chemically dipped to remove all old paint, then wheels are checked to see if they are cracked if any cracks are found they can be TIG welded, wheels are also checked for buckles and if any buckles are found we offer to straighten them out at half our normal rate.

Any scratches, scrapes or minor kerb damage is sanded out and also serious wheel or kerb damage can be TIG welded.

Alloys are then placed in our curing oven and heated to 230c for 20 minutes this process de-gasses the Aluminium and it will reduce popping, pinholes and micro blisters in the paints finish.

Alloys are then powder coated with primer (this high build primer seals, flats and smooths the metals surface), Alloys are then powder coated in the colour of your choice and finally all Alloys are powder coated with a premium grade exterior ultra clear lacquer, as this very durable coating doesn’t cloud or dull colours, it also gives much more protection against road salt, grit and chemicals in severe Winter weather and it protects against Summer Ultra Violet rays.
