TRADING TERMS
---------------------

Customer – must fully accept responsibility for the safety and legal standard of their own tyres.
If we notice the customers tyres do not meet the relevant legal standards we will advise them, and also we will not re-fit them under any circumstances.

The Customer – must ensure their vehicle is collected ASAP on completion, unless prior arrangements have been made and also ensure any loose rims are collected within 1 week of completion. If any Alloys remain uncollected after 6 weeks we will sell them in an attempt to recoup the costs incurred.

The Customer – must pay all monies owed in order for their vehicle or loose wheels to be released.

We – always endeavour to refurbish the customers wheels to the highest standards, but wheels that

are in a very bad condition may not refurbish to our highest standards.

Very bad’ wheel condition is specified as

  • advanced corrosion (pitting of the Aluminium casting)

  • deep spoke damage

  • damage around the fixing holes – caused by improper stud removal

  • Poor wheel castings (fissures or porosity in the original Aluminium casting

  • Poor previous repairs

  • Damage caused by Diamond cut lacquer flaking ( deep pitting)

Some of the above conditions may not be known until wheels are stripped down to bare metal.

Wheels that are in a 'very poor condition' and need extra work will incur additional charges and we will try to contact the customer before any additional chargeable work is undertaken.

We - cannot guarantee to make your old Alloy wheels perfect, but will always endeavour to ensure that they are of the highest possible standard.

We – reserve the right to charge extra in the event of any unforeseen problems.

We – endeavor to meet any given deadline, but do not guarantee this and can not accept liability for any ‘consequential loses’

We – recommend that new valves are fitted after a refurbishment, as standard we provide free off charge new rubber valves.

We - have to make you aware that special pressure sensing valves are very delicate and may be damaged during the tyre removal process, they also may be damaged during their removal from the Alloy wheel especially if they are heavily corroded. Also if the TPMS valve cannot be removed, the heat from the wheel being welded or straightened may damage them. All replacement TPMS valves are always at customer’s cost and also if the customer wishes us to try to refit their old TPMS valves the customer must accept full responsibility for the valve integrity and seal to the Alloy wheel.

We do not not except any responsible for resetting vehicle computers/monitoring systems for TPSM valves and tyre pressures. Owners should refer to their vehicle manual for this function.

We - cannot accept responsibility for Alloys that may react to chemicals in the refurbishment process.
