Our buckle straightening process is usually a same day service.
The process of straightening out buckles in Alloy wheels includes the use of heat to make the Aluminium malleable and it also involves the use of considerable force by the hydraulic ram on our professional wheel straightening machine. Whilst we will obviously apply our considerable skill and knowledge to the job in hand we are sorry to say it is not possible to guarantee the Alloy wheel will not crack. This is because after hitting a really bad pothole the impact may have caused a non visible hairline crack which cannot be seen prior to wheel straightening. Any cosmetic paint work needed after straightening is a separate job. Also if TPMS valves are fitted and they cannot be removed from the Alloys, the heat needed in the wheel straightening process can damage them, we do not except any responsibility for damage to TPMS sensors however caused.

We offer a professional MOT test safe TIG welding service for splits and cracks in Alloy wheels (please see photos below of repairs to the inner rim before and after). Again if TPMS valves are fitted and cannot be removed the heat from the welding repair can damage them, we do not except any responsibility for any damage to TPMS sensors however caused.
Our welding process policy is normally to accept loose wheels dropped off at our unit, (tyres can be on or off), but occasionally if we have spare space you can leave your vehicle with us.

Advantages of Vapour Blasting are its a dust free process, it cleans gently by the flow of water and very fine blast media, not by high pressure hard abrasive impact alone and the water acts as a lubricant between the media & component, which also importantly helps to avoid any media impregnation into soft materials.
All parts that are due to be cleaned are inspected for any corrosive weak spots or faults which may be damaged during the vapour blasting process.
All parts should be de-greased and bearings and bushes removed before vapour blasting can be carried out, but we can de-grease and remove bearings and bushes for you and re- fit new ones (you can supply they or we can source them for you (that's if they are still available) but obviously it will be at extra cost.
We offer professional blasting services in either our large blast room or in our pressure pot blast cabinet which is ideal for smaller items. Sand blasting as it is more commonly known as, is really a method of forcibly propelling with compressed air a stream of different kinds of media particles fired under visual control, we only use a fine grade grit as it does not severely pit the metals surface.
Abrasive blasting, media blasting or grit blasting as it is also known as will smooth or roughen surfaces, it will gently etch away rust and corrosion and strip away old paint and other contaminants on many different materials.
